March 2026 Newsletter
March is Women’s History Month, and we have just celebrated International Women’s Day.
But this is not just a one-day celebration on progress towards gender equity. It is a year-round commitment to Rights. Justice. Action.
This year’s United Nations theme reminds us that real progress requires sustained effort. While we celebrate the milestones women have achieved, the reality is that significant gaps remain.
Globally, women hold only 64% of the legal rights that men have. At the current pace, it could take 286 years to close these legal protection gaps.
In technology and corporate leadership, the picture is similar.
Workplace culture challenges remain widespread. Many women continue to experience microaggressions such as being spoken over in meetings, being stereotyped in their roles, or being asked to take on non-professional tasks that their male colleagues are rarely asked to do.
Representation in leadership also reflects this imbalance:
• Only 25% of C-suite leaders are women
• Only 24% of Fortune 500 board seats are held by women
These numbers are not just statistics. They represent lost opportunities for innovation, leadership, and progress.
The question becomes: What can each of us do to help move the needle forward?
Here are three actions we can take right now.
1. Speak Up and Amplify Voices
When someone’s ideas are overlooked or interrupted, acknowledge and amplify their contribution. Small actions in meetings can shift the culture of inclusion.
2. Challenge Bias When You See It
Bias often shows up subtly. Calling it out respectfully, or redirecting the conversation, helps create accountability and awareness.
3. Invest in Women’s Leadership Development
Coaching, Mentorship, and Sponsorship accelerate leadership growth. When we invest in women leaders, organizations and communities benefit.
Progress happens when individual actions become collective momentum.
That spirit is also reflected in the #GiveToGain campaign, which highlights how empowering women and girls creates broader societal impact for everyone.
Continuing the Work
For me, Women’s History Month is also a reminder to continue creating spaces where women can grow, lead, and support one another.
Over the next few months, I will be focusing on several initiatives:
• Volunteering as a #IAmRemarkable facilitator to help women and underrepresented groups build confidence and advocate for their achievements.
• Launching a virtual group coaching program for women professionals and leaders who want to strengthen their leadership presence and influence.
• Continuing the Innovate You Dialogues, creating a space where leaders can share insights, learn from one another, and build meaningful connections.
• Co-hosting the Distinctly You Leadership Labs in April and May, a one-day immersive program designed for leaders and allies who want to strengthen inclusive and impactful leadership.
• Fascinate® Workshops, Coaching for Teams and Individuals build leadership advancement and transformative growth.
• Speaking at Women in Tech Global Conference 2026
These initiatives reflect the 3-word mantra guiding my work this year:
Connection. Strength. Breakthrough.
Because when women connect, build strength, and support one another, breakthroughs follow.
